Christi Beth's Journal April 19, 2008 Saturday: Tonight was the Instrumental Elimination Round in the " You can be a Star" Ky Opry Talent Search. I want to Thank Mr. Jim Rowe for a Joke he gave me to share. Wanna hear it? OK, How do you get a Frog off your Windshield? Don't know....... You turn on your De-Frogger. HA HA HA...... I just love to tell jokes! The show was very exciting, so much talent. Well, I have some GREAT News. I made it in the top 3 and get to come back and compete in the Grand Finals in May! I want to send out a BIG Thank You to the Judges and all the People who voted for me! May 10, 2008 Saturday: What a Night! The Kentucky Opry Finals! I had a great time and the show was Outstanding. I performed 2 songs: Down Yonder and Tennessee Waltz and of course, I added in some Jokes. I came in 2nd place and got an awesome trophy & some cash!!! Thanks to everyone who voted for me and of course a Big Thank You to Clay and Barbie Campbell.
May 16, 2008 Friday: What a beautiful day for a Bluegrass Festival! This afternoon, the Southwestern Indiana Bluegrass Association performed at the Homegrown Bluegrass Festival in the famous Audubon Park in Henderson, Kentucky. This is the 2nd year they invited me to play with them. I want to Thank everyone that attended and also the SWIBA band.

June 8, 2008 Sunday: Today I had my 7th Birthday Party. What a great time! We had a cookie cake by "Cookies By Design", balloons, bubbles, games, crafts, pinata and loads of FUN! A couple of the girl's slept over, but I don't know how much sleep we got! Here's a few pictures.
June 14, 2008 Saturday: Wow! It's vacation time. We stayed close to home this year. We went to the Ky Motor Speedway & I saw my first big race, visited the Creation Museum, spent a day at Kentucky Down Under and toured Kentucky Caverns. It was so exciting!

The Creation Museum. June 20, 2008 Friday: What a way to end vacation. I got to be on the Kentucky Opry - Stars of Tomorrow Show tonight. I sang a couple of songs, played the fiddle and told some jokes. It was a blast!!
July 3, 2008 Thursday: Tonight, I got the opportunity to sing at the Evansville Otters Game. I sang the National Anthem & during the part where you sing "bombs bursting in air, they set off some fireworks. I wasn't expecting that! My Granny & Papa came up to visit and go with me & my family. We had a great time. They had a Big Crowd - 6379 people!
July11, 2008 Today, My family and I went exploring in Kentucky. First we came to the Shortest Creek in Kentucky. It was called "Short Creek". It is located in Pulaski County. Then we finished out the day at the fabulous Cumberland Falls! Check out my cool Pictures.
July12, 2008 I was invited back to perform at The Pisgah Schoolhouse Pickin' Jam 2nd Anniversary Celebration! I played Fiddle and Sang. I had help from my Papa - Bobby Joe Denham , my Dad - Wayne, my Mom - Pam and a new Talent Lucas Jessee an 11 yr old Banjo picker! Thanks to everyone who came out to see me. It was an absolutely beautiful day! My Aunt & Uncle came to see me from Lexington!
July13, 2008 After going to church with my Granny & Papa, We left Kentucky headed south to Dollywood in Tennessee. Now that I am officially over 48inches tall, I'm going to get to ride a real Rollercoaster! And ride I did! We spent 2 days at Dolly- wood and I rode the Thunderhead & Tennessee Tornado several times!!!
August 11, 2008 It's the First Day of 2nd Grade! This is going to be a Great Year!
August 27, 2008 Today is a Great Day! My Granny is finally Home after spending the past 44 days in the Hospital! I want to Thank GOD for answering prayers! I want to Thank all my Family & Friends for all Their Love, Prayers & Concern during this time.
